Jenny Melzer
After graduating from Bloomsburg University in 2006, Jenny Melzer began working in online publishing, launching her career building SERPs for early web directories before shifting her focus to content creation and editing in 2009. She worked as a writer and editor for various publications across the Tsavo/Ovast media brand from 2009 to 2013 before joining Hex publishers as an editor in 2014. In 2018, she joined Wonderthing Studios, creating database content and providing tech support for the story mapping program ARCHIVOS.
Jenny Melzer is currently a Senior Movies and TV editor at CBR.com. In 2020, Jenny joined CBR as a Gaming staff writer, sharing her vast knowledge on franchises like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and Elder Scrolls, as well as her lifelong love for D&D. She then expanded her coverage to include TV, Movies, and Anime in 2021 before going on to take an editorial position.
Jenny is an avid gamer and hobbyist. She can usually be found binging true crime, nordic noir, J-Dramas, K-Dramas, or anime, reading manga, fighting back Reapers in her N7 gear, chasing Kiryu-chan all over Kamurocho, or gathering with her party on Tuesday nights in the ongoing So Many Levels D&D campaign streaming on Twitch!
